Based on our vendor relationships and industry proven business requirements template, we are able to accelerate the selection process within a fraction of the time and costs, of traditional consulting establishments. Our selection process includes the full spectrum of vendors that offer virtualization and ITIL application tools (most of these vendors are accessible from our vendor selection tab). VMaudit.com's vendor selection service includes our initial vendor pool aligned with your business requirements, the down-selection process, our proprietary Evaluation & Ranking Scorecard (ERS), and selected finalist(s). If necessary, VMaudit.com will negotiate final vendor pricing. Our comprehensive vendor selection process minimizes client interaction, while maximizing value to your business in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible: - Business Requirements Template – We will distribute an industry proven business and virtualization requirements template that you complete and returns to us as a baseline
- Create Master Rating & Ranking Schedule – We provide a non-biased rating & ranking schedule that normalizes all the vendor responses into an arithmetic evaluation.
- Create Initial Vendor Pool – We leverage our experience and relationships to ensure that we are reviewing only competent and solvent vendors that meet your initial expectations.
- Down-Selection process - VMaudit.com will provide the results of our down-selection process and make available our methodology for your review.
- Evaluate Vendor Proposals – This is the most critical part of the vendor selection process. Our experience, hands on expertise, and vendor relationships will ensure we make the most beneficial and accurate decision.
- Contact Incumbent Application Vendors - VMaudit.com will evaluate your critical applications for compliance with virtualization. This will be included as part of the overall vendor risk assessment.
- Assess Vendor Account Manager – VMaudit.com will evaluate your “soon to be assigned” account manager for fit i.e., Proximity to account, industry expertise, tenure, motivation, company rank etc.
- Create Finalist List (2 or 3) – Similar to step 4 with the inclusion of pricing, support, maintenance, stability, growth projection, release schedules, aggressiveness etc.
- Forward Materials to Client - Provide client with comprehensive evaluation template and analysis. Allow for client Q&A and input to make changes or recommendations.
